The Los Angeles Lakers have some extra incentive to turn this season around, thanks to porn star, Sadie Santana. The actress recently took to twitter to let the Lakers know she'd be willing to reward them if they can make it to 47 wins this season.
You can check out the explicit offer in the slides, somethings just aren't meant to be embedded in an article on this site...
A few days ago Los Angeles' rapper The Game posted a video on instagram of himself swishing a three in front of a crowd that included Kevin Durant, DeMar DeRozan, James Harden, and Drake. Game claimed that Durant bet the rapper $20,000 that he couldn't swish an NBA three, which he did.
However, some ruthless paparazzi caught up with KD after a condition session and asked him about the bet, which Durant claims is all fiction;
Golden State Warriors guard, Klay Thompson, is on the top of his game right now, both on and off the court. The sharp shooting guard recently signed a max extension with Golden State, worth roughly $70 million over four years. He's started the 2014-15 season on an incredibly hot streak, scoring a career-high 41 points against Kobe Bryant and the Lakers; being named Western Conference Player of the Week in the process.

The NBA Draft is an exciting ceremony where dreams can come true (or be shattered) and fans allow their hopes to blossom for the future. This is why a raucous crowd gathers every year and everyone else tunes in to watch 30 young men walk across a stage to shake Emperor Stern's hand (while the other 30 settle for the Adam Silver greeting). It is a time of unlimited possibilities and unbridled optimism. Unfortunately, everything rarely works out exactly as we think it should.
The New York Knicks' lost their eighth straight game last night to the New Orleans Pelicans, and it appears as though their on court issues are also spilling over into the locker room. During last week's matchup against the Brooklyn Nets, Carmelo Anthony got into a heated exchange with Tim Hardaway Jr. after the youngster shouted at Melo to 'get the rebound.' As if the Knicks season couldn't get any more embarrassing.
For those who are unaware of the circumstances, Nick Young's girlfriend, Iggy Azalea, has been in a bit of a social media war with the OG Snoop Dogg/Lion/whatever. It all started when Snoop posted a hilarious picture depicting Iggy with no makeup on, to which the 'Fancy' artist took great offense. And then Uncle Snoop went all-in posting a series of memes on his instagram account.
If you haven't already heard, Joel Embiid is an absolute riot on twitter. The rookie center out of Kansas, and current member of the Sixers, has previously tried to recruit LeBron via twitter and is generally a wildcard when it comes to social media. Today, he used his twitter account to make a pass at Kim Kardashian;
Hey I want you to come slide in my DMs @KimKardashian
In October of last year the Washington Wizards took a page out of the Toronto Raptors' playbook by employing a rapper to be a part of their organization. The Wiz gave DC-native, Wale the title of 'creative liaison' with the hopes that he could help provide some more excitement for their already entertaining squad.
Speaking with ESPN The Magazine, Wale delivered some more information as to his plans for the future of the Wizards and it could include some new jerseys.
The Toronto Raptors are close to scrapping their black and red colors for a black and gold look inspired by Drake. Reports indicate that the new team colors, which are the same as Drake's OVO Sound record label, would be used for the 2015-16 season.
According to the Toronto Sun, Tim Leiweke, the president of Maple Leaf Sports and Entertainment said;
Good thing the Lakers and Rockets aren't heading to Brazil for their preseason, or they could be a full scale riot in the arena. The popular '3 Goggles' 3-point celebration commonly used by guys like Nick Young and James Harden, has a totally different meaning in Brazil, and the Miami Heat and Cleveland Cavaliers have been warned not to use the gesture.
Love him or hate him, you can't deny that Drake's move to put a legit basketball hoop in his room isn't awesome.
The Toronto Raptors' global ambassador, like anyone knows what that is, took to instagram to show off his new digs which is straight out of a teenager's dream, complete with a 'Supreme' rug. It's only a matter of time until somebody drops a tomahawk dunk and tears down the sheetrock but for now at least, this is the ultimate YOLO sanctuary.
Kevin Durant was unable to help his team on the court last night as they put on an atrocious offensive display and fell to the Rockets, 69-65. That said, KD was still doing his best to help out his squad by getting in the head of Dwight Howard, repeatedly telling him 'You're a p***y. '
Of all the players in the NBA, Dwight Howard is always in the conversation when it comes to the biggest babies. The Rockets' 7'1 center was most recently called out by his former teammate Kobe Bryant for being soft, and the rest of the league is taking notice.
Jay-Z is facing a $600M lawsuit from a man who claims he trademarked the "Brooklyn Nets" name before the Nets ever moved out of New Jersey.
The plaintiff, Dr. Francois de Cassagnol, filed the complaint on December 9th, 2013. He claims he registered the "Brooklyn Nets" term over 10 years ago, and that Hova, the NBA, and Bruce Ratner (developer) fraudulently conspired, and used loopholes in the Patent Office to use the name.
A previous appeal ruled in favor of the NBA, but Francois is determined to obtain his $600M in "damages."
Andre Drummond's short lived romance with former Nickelodeon star, Jennette McCurdy, has officially ended and the chick is spilling the beans. It's hard to believe the relationship didn't work out, considering the two met on instagram and she was Drummond's #WomanCrushWednesday. Those types of relationships almost always last forever.
Paul George needs to get it together in his off the court romances. First, he offered a stripper $1M for an abortion, which she declined, and now it seems he is the victim of a catfish scam.
According to reports, the Pacers star allegedly sent half naked, and fully nude selfies to a "woman" he met online. Turns out it was a dude all along, and Paul George's photos are now circulating the web. Apparently this catfish master also played the Knicks' Kenyon Martin, and rapper Romeo into doing the same.
In 2012, Shaquille O'Neal bought a 3,904 square foot mansion in Orlando for $235,000. He recently sold the 5-bedroom, 4-bathroom pad for a 10 spot.
The Diesel signed the trustee's deed, which was filed in California, on March 6th. Yves Paul Demesmin is the lucky new home owner of Shaq's old digs, which cost him a mere $10. Demesmin, who has to be a very dear friend to the Big Aristotle, is a Haitian businessman who owns a tax service company in Orlando. There's no word on why Shaq gifted the house to Demesmin, aside from that fact that he was just feeling very generous.
After Drake made a weak 'recruitment' of Kevin Durant during a show at his annual OVO Fest in Toronto, the Raptors received a $25,000 fine from the league for tampering. The NBA has since offered to drop the fine, on the condition that the Raptors fire their Global Ambassador, Drake. The Raptors refused to strip Drizzy of his title.
In the grand scheme of things, $25K is nothing to an NBA franchise, and like it or not, Drake has been a crucial part to the Raptors' rebranding, including their entire 'We The North' rally during last year's playoffs.
One of the voices of college basketball, Greg Anthony, has been suspended by CBS indefinitely following his arrest on solicitation charges.
A CBS spokeswoman says "Greg Anthony will not be working again for CBS this season."
The CBS analyst, and former Knicks' guard, was booked last night in the District of Columbia and charged with soliciting a prostitute- he was scheduled to call today's Big-10 game between Michigan State and Maryland in College Park, Marlyand.
During his annual OVO Fest in Toronto, the Raptors' Global Ambassador and #1 Spike Lee impersonator on the sidelines, Drake, shouted out Kevin Durant who was in attendance. Drake begged the fans in the crowd to show KD some love, in hopes that he would be floored by the response, and one day sign with the Raptors. But, that all backfired.
Not only was the recruit attempt supremely weak, the Raptors will be fined $25,000.
Drake showed up at the Barclay's Center last night for game 6 of the Nets vs. Raptors, and Brooklyn was ready. Not only did the Nets take game 6 to force a game 7 in Toronto on Sunday, but they got in a well deserved jab at the Canadian rapper.
Back in November, DeMarcus Cousins pulled Isaiah Thomas away from Chris Paul, who was trying to shake hands after the game. This incident added fuel to the fire for Cousins' reputation of having a poor attitude and being immature.
Cousins spoke out about why he did that, and his true feelings about CP3;
Former Phoenix Suns guard and NBA executive, Rex Chapman, was bagged on Saturday for allegedly stealing $14,000 worth of Apple products from a retail store in Scottsdale, Arizona. According to reports, Chapman stole items from the Apple store on seven different occasions over the course of a few months.
Apple employees told authorities that Rex would act like he was paying for the items via a self-checkout system, and would just walk out the door without ever paying, later selling the items to pawn shops for cash.
To hell with learning the triangle offense and averaging more than 7 points a game, the Knicks' Iman Shumpert is focused on crushing all the haters with his lyrical genius.
Shump, who has actually been playing well for the Knicks thus far, is tired of Charlamagne Tha God and DJ Envy taking shots at him and his new track '#HowToHate' addresses his issues. Apparently, the Knicks guard, who is dating Teyana Taylor, isn't pleased with the way the two radio hosts slander him on the air and then try to smile to his face after the fact.
Playing hoops with a gold chain around your neck is a douchebag move, but dont tell that to Air Yeezy. Kanye West was recently spotted at an Orange County gym, hooping it up with Kobe Bryant, who was apparently giving 'Ye some tips on his game.
Hottest female basketball player in the game has to be Skylar Diggins, right? You might only know the former Notre Dame star for appearing in Sports Illustrated's Swimsuit Edition, but the masterful point guard is still getting in done in the WNBA for the Tulsa Shock.
That's a fact that OVO artist, OB O'Brien is all too aware of. In a four part rant which Drake posted on his instagram, OB fawns over the sexy guard but wants you to know he, and Drake, are really just a fan of her game (on the court).
Deron Williams couldn't wait to get out of Utah back in 2011, but it appears New York wouldn't have been his desired location if he had the opportunity to choose. Or his second, or third, choice for that matter.
In an interview with 'Resident' Magazine, D-Will spoke on what it's like to be a New Yorker;
Jay-Z completely changed the culture of Nets basketball when he joined as a minority partner. Albeit, his share was very, very slim, the move to Brooklyn and complete re-branding was a testament to his star power.
Recently, the Raptors have been considering re-branding as well, though they plan to stay in Toronto. The Raptors might be swapping colors for a black/gold to mimic Drake's OVO label.
