Happy Birthday
Happy Birthday
Childish Major Feat. Isaiah Rashad & SZA
VERY HOTTTTT
While most of us have been celebrating the Fourth of July, multi-talented producer/singer Childish Major has been doubly celebrating as it also happens to be his birthday. He's cooked up his very own birthday song, and he's got some pretty strong features in the mix, from two of TDE's underdogs. After quickly getting some artwork done for it via twitter, he's come through with the full collaboration.

VERY HOTTTTT
Following up last month’s “Lies” release, TDE member SZA decides to come through this evening and share a new record for us called “twoAM,” which is reportedly a female’s perspective on PND & Drake’s collab “Come and See Me.”
Lies
Lies
SZA
HOTTTTT
In her first appearance since showing up for an all-star rendition of "Killing Me Softly" put together by the New York Times, SZA is back with a new collaboration with dance-pop producer Felix Snow. On "Lies," SZA sings atop a pumping deep house production, and her vocals don't lose their emotional resonance despite the track's club focus.

Jay Rock Feat. Kendrick Lamar & SZA
VERY HOTTTTT
After giving us the well-received 90059 album, we assumed Jay Rock would go back into hiding for another year or two. Not so fast this time around though, the rapper has been doing more interviews than usual (see our recent conversation with him below), and even announced a tour (albeit it's an extremely short one).

MNHATTN is a New York-based artist, who dabbles in both visual arts and musical arts. He attended the same high school that Nicki Minaj and Azealia Banks famously attended as well, Fiorello H. Sobriety
Sobriety
SZA
HOTTTTT
TDE's first lady, SZA, lived up to the crazy levels of hype that came with her signing with her great Z EP, and since that dropped in April, she's kept her reign going strong by touring and dropping a few one-off tracks. "Sobriety" is the latest of those, and it was produced by a team consisting of Chris Calor, Cody, LoveDragon, TDE gun-for-hire Sounwave and bass virtuoso Thundercat (whose indelible riffs you can hear on the tail end of Kendrick Lamar's "i").
Divinity
Divinity
SZA Feat. Jill Scott
HOTTTTT
TDE's first lady has been busy these past few days. Yesterday SZA let go a new ethereal collaboration with Kitty Cash, "Mood Ring," and today she's back with another collabo, this time with the great Jill Scott. "Divinity" has that otherworldly r'n'b sound that SZA has become known for, with abstract (and slightly mumbled) lyrics. Production comes from Om'Mas Keith.

Though she's been releasing music since 2012, most of the hip-hop world was introduced to SZA's psychedelic strain of R&B through Z, her debut album on TDE. Since signing to the label in Fall 2013, the New Jersey native has seen her stock rise substantially, leading to collaborations with her labelmates as well as Mac Miller and Chance The Rapper.

SZA's new project Z will hit iTunes at midnight, and before that time arrives we've got one last sweet leak from the project, with her Top Dawg label mate Kendrick Lamar. The smooth record contains that same feel we've been hearing on all the leaks, while K. Dot provides a very nice 16s for us to dwell on.

SZA debuted "Child's Play" live at the Fader Fort last year at SXSW, and now we finally have the official audio. Since then, she's scored a verse from Chance The Rapper, who actually harmonizes with SZA for the final chorus following his 16.
Ice Moon Revisited

SZA Feat. Ab-Soul
VERY HOTTTTT
Bump Ice Moon Revisited, the latest cut from SZA featuring Ab-Soul on the assist. It was released on Tuesday, November 19th, 2013. Things are improving for SZA with each new offering, and Ice Moon Revisited is certainly no exception. It's a worthy addition to the SZA's catalogue, which has seen much evolution as of late. We're definitely anticipating the next step.
