Rihanna's Fenty Beauty will be launching 14 new lipstick shades just in time for the holidays. Riri modelled two of the the upcoming offers called "Spanked" and "Clapback" and needless to say she slays.
The real news comes from Rihanna tapping the Ctrl singer, SZA, to post up in one of the new lipsticks looking just as flawless. SZA's shade of choice was "Midnightwasabi" where her debut as a Fenty Beauty model can be seen on the official Instagram page. Check out the photos below.
The "Lemon" singer recently replied to one of her Instagram commenters who said her line is "awesome" but next time a "trans girl" should be invited to model the beauty line. Riri's response to the user was this:
"I've had the pleasure of working with many gifted trans women throughout the years, but I don't go around doing trans casting!" she writes. "Just like I don't do straight non trans women castings! I respect all women, and whether they're trans or not is none of my business! It's personal and some trans women are more comfortable being open about it than others so I have to respect that as a woman myself! I don't think it's fair that a trans woman, or man, be used as a marketing tool! Too often do I see companies doing this to trans and black women alike! There's always just one spot in the campaign for the token "we look mad diverse" girl/guy! It's sad!"
