If you've been following the upcoming beat battle between hip-hop icons Swizz Beatz and Timbaland, you're probably familiar with the phrase "I'm with the smoke." In fact, it's sort of become the official words of the battle, and Swizz has used it more times than the entirety of house Stark use "Winter Is Coming" in Game of Thrones. Therefore, it's no surprise that when the producer took to Zane Lowe's Apple Music radio show to announce his upcoming album, he revealed the title as: Swizz Beatz Presents: I’m with the Smoke.

The Ruff Ryders producer promised many "unexpected collaborations," while also revealing that he has been working on the album for years, while it was still under the name of Haute Living. In French, you call that shit Franglais. Swizz ultimately ended up scrapping that direction and opting to drop loosies, until he was clearly seized by the creative bug and go to work on this upcoming project. While we have yet to hear a release date or a single for I'm With The Smoke, if the producer's teaser videos from the beat battle are any indication, we're going to be in for some serious fire.

Ever the family man, Swizz also took the opportunity to showcase the talents of his son KJ the Prince, who "took over the interview" with the world premiere of his new song "Take Your Time." It's no wonder that the kid turned out talented, as he's being raised in a household occupied by Swizz Beatz and Alicia Keys. Still no word if KJ will appear on I'm With The Smoke, but from the sound of that snippet, he wouldn't sound out of place.

What do ya'll think? Are you still checking for Swizz Beatz these days? I know I'm pretty excited about that beat battle, despite the fact that hype has somewhat cooled. Check out a snippet of KJ's track, courtesy of Swizzy's IG.
