Despite Slim being one of the biggest rappers in the world at the time, Devil's Night placed a wider spotlight on the rest of the members, all strong emcees forged by Detroit's competitive hip-hop landscape. For Swifty McVay, the most recent addition to the crew, Devil's Night found him stealing the show on several standout tracks, including "Pimp Like Me" and "Instigator," the latter of which featured two verses from the sinister emcee.
Today, Swift took a moment to reflect on the day the album released. As he tells it, D12 took to the streets of Time Square to promote the album on the ground level. "On This Day 19 Years Ago D12 Walked Through Manhattan NY With Picket Signs REPPING/Promoting Their Classic Debut D12 DEVILS NIGHT LP," he writes, on his Twitter page you can follow here.
