Those who've been keeping up with the Boston scene will recognize that the duo of StupidGenius, who hail from the nearby town of Lowell, is also on the rise, having dropped a big-time collab with Tory Lanez in October. StupidGenius have now enlisted Stizz for their latest record, "Ocean Drive," which serves as a reminder of the exciting energy brewing in and around Beantown right now.
"Ocean Drive" is a nice hybrid of trap and R&B, with a slow, hazy beat coming from DumDrumz. The song's title seems to refer to the wave that all three rappers have been infected by, a wave that has them keeping a loose, confident control over the track whether they're singing or rapping.
