Elujay's 13-track "Jentrify" is a love letter to his hometown of Oakland.
Elujay has gained significant internet traction in 2016 on the strength of a series of singles that started with the springtime slow burner "Flagrant." This week, the 20-year-old finally released his debut project, Jentrify.
"This is everything leading up to when I was in high school," he wrote of the project on SoundCloud. "This is my heart my soul my everything, please be delicate with it."
13 tracks in length, Jentrify was conceived as a love letter to Elujay's hometown of Oakland. Rexx Life Rajj, Jay Ant, and Trapo all make guest appearances.
