Steve Lacy's Demo was one of three solo projects released by members of The Internet over the last few months, and just as fellow bandmember Syd did last week, Steve has shared an outtake from his project on SoundCloud. While Syd's "Treading Water" was very clearly cut due to the instrumental being placed with TWENTY88, Lacy would rather not go into detail as to why his new record "MORON" was left off his project.

"here's a track that didn't make it. don't ask me why, i'd prefer you just listen :)," he writes on SoundCloud. The song features some gorgeous harmonies that at times recall Pharrell's delicate falsetto.

Listen to Lacy's project here, and look out for a new album from The Internet later this year.

Quotable Lyrics:
Caught a feel, I didn't want her back
She's over me, I want her back
Why does it happen to me?
Gotta move on
I got about 3 girls I could call
Anytime, but I only want her
