Jeremy Smith known as Spex, grew up in the heart of Chicago's very own Cabrini Green Projects. Face with violence and negative energy throughout his community, Spex utilizes the experience to create a vocal picture. Writing poetry since the age of 10, playing the trumpet at 12, and now producing Hip-Hop and R&B music for himself and other artist. Spex passion for music is reflected through Hip-Hop using a unique approach to capture the true essence of story telling. Spex is ready to do it all with no major record deal.
