Festival season is in process, and while many lineups have already been unveiled, a few gems continue to emerge. Such is the case for the upcoming Summertime In The LBC festival, which is all set to transpire on Saturday, July 7th, at the Queen Mary in Long Beach. While not as extensive as some of the bigger name concerts, this one features an excellent lineup of hip-hop legends, as well as the triumphant return of Ja Rule and Ashanti. If that's not enough to get you excited, I don't know what is.
As far as headliners are concerned, Snoop Dogg, Ice Cube, and The Game have you covered. Afterward, the aforementioned Murda Inc veterans. Also in the mix are The Isley Brothers, Method Man and Redman, E-40 and Too Short, Warren G and The Dove Shack, DJ Quik, Suga Free, The Dramatics, The Manhattans, Evidence, Mack 10, Tha Dogg Pound and more. If you're into classic hip-hop, this lineup features some gems; how often are you going to catch DJ Quik, Method Man and Redman, and E-40 at the same show. Ridiculous, actually.
