Stream Smoke DZA & Pete Rock's New Album "Don’t Smoke Rock"
After much patience and impotence, the world has been blessed with the release of Smoke DZA & Pete Rock's collaboration album Don't Smoke Rock. The inter-generational duo brought together a dope AF gang of features as eclectic as their unexpected partnership, including the likes of Mac Miller, Jadakiss, 2016 XXL Freshman Dave East, Wale, Royce Da 5'9", Rick Ross, and Big K.R.I.T. This is a super serious hip-hop affair.
The Best Hip Hop Songs (On Spotify) Of November 2016
Earlier this year, HNHH launched a Spotify playlist called FIRE EMOJI: The Hottest Hip Hop Songs Right Now. The playlist is updated on a daily basis. It lives on Spotify and thus is inherently imperfect, because not all super-hot hip hop songs have been added to Spotify. Still, the playlist is generally representative of the best new releases in hip hop and R&B.
Staff Picks Playlist (November 25)
Hip-hop fans, before we let the music take us away on this Friday night, let's say a prayer for Kanye West, who, instead of spending the holidays with his young family, is in the hospital (allegedly) due to a state of psychosis induced by high levels of stress and exhaustion. Understandably so. Could anyone live a life of such vast ambition, under such constant scrutiny, and maintain his or her sanity? Yes, his ego has proven to be too big for his own good many times over, but through it all, he's never let his lust for greatness drown out his love for humanity.
Who's Going On Tour? Spring/Summer Tour Round-Up
A lot of big artists are going on tour this spring and summer. You have mega-stars like Beyonce, Rihanna, and Drake. You have rising stars Anderson .Paak and Bas. You have established vets like Snoop Dogg, Maxwell, and Cam'Ron. And everybody in between. It looks like some legendary tours are going down towards the end of the calendar year. Gucci Mane & Friends tour is scheduled to go down when La Flare gets released from prison in September and Kanye West is also shooting to kick off his The Life of Pablo tour in September as well.
Behind The Beat: Harry Fraud
Harry Fraud has stayed in the same part of Brooklyn his entire life. “I ran around Gowanus when it was word of mouth the mob was dumpin’ bodies here,” he says with a hint of sarcasm. Fraud’s studio is situated in a relatively industrial patch of a neighborhood that has seen a real estate boom in recent years.

Remember back on February 5 when we were bombarded with a ton of new projects from Wiz Khalifa, Majid Jordan, Boosie Badazz, Young Thug, Dizzy Wright, and Future? Well today is similar to that, and we’ve already received new projects from Kendrick Lamar, Bas, Lil Wayne & 2 Chainz to name a few. Now, The Kenner Loop is available to stream in all its glory.
Rappers Share Their Smoking Preferences For 4/20
Today may not be a government-mandated holiday, but for those who advocate a green lifestyle, it's just as important as any other statutory holiday. Rap music has a special niche for all the weed smokers out there, however it's really transcended that niche genre and has become pretty common-place. Every other song has a reference (or three) about lighting up/rolling up/smoking up. It's safe to say we don't need a reason to smoke, but hey, we'll take one.
Stream Trademark Da Skydiver's "Return Of The Super Villain"
The super villain is a tried and true trope in hip-hop, with artists such as MF DOOM mining the psyches of the deranged and often ludicrous comic book arch-nemeses. Trademark Da Skydiver returns to the anti-Justice League today, dropping a project entitled Return Of The Super Villain (which references his previous Super Villain series). Clad in a bandana and gold watch in the album's artwork, Trademark's dastardly persona seems to be defined by its weed smoking abilities. Flame on!

Featured on the project's five tracks are Wiz Khalifa, Smoke DZA, Hell Rell and Sen City.

His zany flow and outlandish antics have made him a staple in the festival world, his remix-ability has made him popular both in the EDM and beat culture crowds, and he has a inexplicable appeal to the indie culture, with collaborations alongside the likes of Purity Ring, Vampire Weekend and Portugal. The Man.
Crew Love: Jet Life
In 2009, when Curren$y started Jet Life Recordings, there were only two other members to the Jet Life crew: Young Roddy and Trademark da Skydiver. In the five years since, Jet Life has grown like kudzu.
Review: Smoke DZA's "Dream.ZONE.Achieve"
Smoke DZA fans have seen the Harlem rapper’s growth from his last few projects. He went from hard-hitting straight-laced lyrics in George Kush Da Button to a street storyteller in Rugby Thompson. Back with the long awaited and highly anticipated Dream.ZONE.Achieve, DZA sets out to prove that he has a lot more to talk about than just marijuana.

Cam'ron Says He's Working On Project With Smoke DZA
Cam'ron seems to be back in action these days. We've heard from him more in the past month than we have in 2013, at least, it seems that way.
Review: Curren$y's "The Drive In Theatre"
Only a handful of artists release as much content as Curren$y does. Some can match the quantity, but none can top the quality. Spitta Andretti is known for releasing album-quality mixtapes at a constant rate, giving fans all they can digest. 2013’s New Jet City was one of the hottest mixtapes of the year, and his latest offering The Drive In Theatre doesn’t disappoint either.
