RL Grime, What So Not & Skrillex
RL Grime and Australian producer What So Not began writing their newly released collaboration "Waiting" in 2013, on the same day they began writing their 2014 festival smash "Tell Me." The sketch went by the wayside until Skrillex got his hands on it this summer.
Rick Ross & Skrillex
The "Suicide Squad" soundtrack is slated to drop on August 5th, the same day as the movie. We've already heard Lil Wayne, Ty Dolla $ign, & Logic tag-team "Sucker For Pain." Now, a Skrillex X Rick Ross collaboration called "Purple Lamborghini" has surfaced and, unsurprisingly, it is an enormous banger.
M.I.A. Feat. Skrillex & Blaqstarr
M.I.A. has shared the first single off her upcoming album, AIM, which upon its September 9 release, will be her first in almost three years. The song, "Go Off," features EDM wunderkind Skrillex as well as Baltimore club emcee/producer Blaqstarr. "Go Off" is a catchy club record that finds M.I.A. letting her vocals quickly ripple over a lightweight Skrillex production driven by a melange of airy vocal samples. The song contains hints of footwork and Baltimore club in honor of Blaqstarr, who comes in spontaneously to echo M.I.A. on the bridge that leads into the hook.
A$AP Ferg Feat. Skrillex & Crystal Caines
On April 22, ASAP Ferg will release his highly anticipated sophomore album Always Strive And Prosper, featuring guest appearances from Missy Elliott, Chris Brown, Rick Ross, Future, Ty Dolla $ign, Big Sean, ScHoolboy Q, and more. Leading up to its release however, the Harlem spitter has been treating us to a new pre-order release every Friday in the meantime, dropping off the Big Sean-assisted “World Is Mine” last week.
Show Me Love (Remix) [CDQ]
Skrillex, Chance The Rapper & Hundred Waters
All the way back in December, we shared a remix of Hundred Waters’ “Show Me Love” by their label head Skrillex and Chance the Rapper. Well, after a few months, Skrillex finally gave the okay for BBC Radio 1’s Annie Mac to drop the full CDQ of the record. It’s a good one.
Yesterday, Vic Mensa was part of the VIP section on the floor of Kanye's TLOP/Yeezy Season 3 party at Madison Square Garden. 'Ye even passed Vic the AUX cord so he could give the crowd a preview of his new single. After the event, Mensa still had the energy to drop off a freestyle for his good friend Skrillex, as he was the guest on the producer's OWSLA Radio show on Beats 1.
Show Me Love (Remix) [Soundcheck Rip]
Chance The Rapper & Skrillex
Last month, Skrillex told Billboard that he had just directed his first music video, for a track by Hundred Waters, a band on his OWSLA label, and Chance the Rapper. Neither the song nor the video has been released yet, but OWSLA artist Mija played what appears to be the collaboration in full during a recent soundcheck in Washington D.C.
I'll Show You
Justin Bieber Feat. Skrillex
Justin Bieber has come through with another single off his upcoming album, Purpose, which drops on November 13. The new song, "I'll Show You," is another collaboration with EDM producer Skrillex, following "Sorry," the "dance video" to which has amassed almost 60 million YouTube views after being released just over a week ago.
Working For It
ZHU, Skrillex & THEY.
We already introduced you to the r'n'b duo THEY. the other week, with the release of their 3-song Nu Religion EP. That project has already received a ton of praise, but today they (ha) return with two pretty big deals in the EDM world, ZHU and Skrillex. The collaboration, "Working For It," is the final piece of ZHU's recent "Genesis" series, and he's definitely going out with a bang. The producer and THEY. are labelmates, so the collaboration isn't too much of reach.
El Chapo (Official)
The Game Feat. Skrillex
The Game's Skrillex collaboration, "El Chapo," sprung a leak last month, but was swept pretty much clean off the net fairly quickly. Now that The Documentary 2 is officially out, Skrill has pulled the trigger on what seems to be the new single from The Doc 2.5, sharing the track on his official SoundCloud today.
The Game Feat. Skrillex
The Game has been getting us hyped for The Documentary 2 in the last 24 hours, announcing that the album would be a 38-track double album and making a humorous appearance on "The Nightly Show" for good measure.
Vic Mensa & Skrillex
Vic Mensa and EDM producer Skrillex just debuted a new collaboration on Apple, via Zane Lowe's Beats 1 radio show. Another point for Apple. On top of getting some hot exclusives, Apple is a bit more sympathetic to those of us who don't have the service-- we're able to stream the song on the web, with no app installation required (unlike TIDAL exclusives). Anyways back to the record at hand, Vic Mensa and Skrillex turn up, making this perfect for the Friday night that lies ahead.
Take You There (Remix)
RiFF RaFF Feat. Kiesza
As a signee of Diplo's Mad Decent record label, RiFF RAFF has been known to hop on an EDM track or two, imbuing the already bright hues of turn up tracks with doses of his colorful, cartoonish persona. Today, he's done it again, offering up a remix of Jack Ü (Diplo and Skrillex's duo) and Kiesza's "Take Ü There."
Coast Is Clear
Skrillex Feat. Chance The Rapper
Well here it is! After hearing a preview of this record last month in NYC, we finally get the CDQ version of Skrillex and Chance The Rapper’s newest collab “Coast Is Clear”. The Chicago spitta adds his rhymes over some jazz-inspired production handled by Skrillex. Not the outcome I expected to hear, but probably better. Take a listen for yourself, and let us know if you’re feelin it?
Wild For The Night
A$AP Rocky Feat. Skrillex
Check out Wild For The Night, the latest from ASAP Rocky which features a guest appearance from Skrillex on the assist. The track was released on Monday, January 14th, 2013. ASAP Rocky's chances in this game are improving with each new release, and Wild For The Night is no exception - quite the opposite, in fact. It's a nice addition to the impressive catalogue ASAP Rocky has been building over the years. We're definitely anticipating the next move.
Lets Get Down
Skrillex Feat. Wale
Listen to Lets Get Down (Radio Rip), the new track by Skrillex featuring Wale which was dropped on Friday, June 15th, 2012. Skrillex's odds keep getting better with each new leak, and Lets Get Down (Radio Rip) will undoubtedly improve his chances of winning. It's a worthy addition to a respectable catalogue that has seen a lot of growth since Skrillex debuted in this game. We're looking forward to the follow-up.
Check out Boss Level (Prod by Skrillex), the latest from XV. The track was released on Tuesday, October 11th, 2011. XV's chances in this game are improving with each new release, and Boss Level (Prod by Skrillex) is no exception - quite the opposite, in fact. It's a nice addition to the impressive catalogue XV has been building over the years. We're definitely anticipating the next move.
