At 2 minutes and 47 seconds, "Lost Souls" is second-longest track on Ski Mask The Slump God's new project Beware The Book Of Eli. He's not the only rapper of his generation cutting his song lengths to short blasts, but he's probably the only one packing more syllables into each track than most are doing on standard length tracks. "Lost Souls" is the opening track on the project, and by Slump God's standards, it's actually pretty light on double-time, but the South Florida emcee's impeccable technical ability is still in full force. Even with the assault of pure bars coming from Slump, he can do an admirable amount of vocal manipulation, never really sounding like anyone but his animated self on a track. Balancing out his theatrics is Rich The Kid, a rapper who shows up twice on the album, and sticks to the center of the beats with a simple, stylish triplet flow. It's a perfect way to start an album that never lets up. Listen to the full project, which also features guest appearances from SahBabii and Ronny J, here.

Quotable Lyrics:
I fuck ya bitch when I'm bored
I am not Simba
But when I do photo, bitch
I greet that bitch with a roar
Ferragamo to the floor
Flow hot like Earth's core
