No slowing down for grime's most popular emcee.

UK grime king Skepta has been fairly quiet since releasing his sophomore album Konnichiwa earlier in 2016, only appearing as a guest on a Makonnen track since then. Early this AM, Skepta hopped on Instagram to share a new track, tentatively titled “#NoSecurity.”

Skepta sounds hyped as he plays the track back in the studio, presumably right after he recorded it. It’s a downbeat record, with Skepta rapping in a breathy, muted style we haven’t heard much from him. There’s no word on where the song will end up, but based on the snippet we’re excited to hear the CDQ version.

Konnichiwa recently went gold in the UK, and has been among one of the stronger albums released this year. Listen to #NoSecurity below and read our review of Konnichiwa here.
