Back in April, we learned that one of the year's best tracks, Skepta's wonky "SHUTDOWN," would be getting a remix from none other than actor Idris Elba. Well, it's here.
Again led off by Drake's "Truss Mi Daddi" quote, the track truly kicks off with Idris' gruff, surprisingly dextrous verse. Referencing his career-making role as Stringer Bell on "The Wire," and getting rid of his haters with a dick slap, the British actor nimbly navigates the song's elephantine beat, handily holding his own against the UK's most popular MC of the moment.
