You knew OVO Sound Radio would come with some Halloween treats tonight, and, indeed, one of those included a surprise set from grime emcee Skepta, who dropped three new remixes during his mix. The most noteworthy is of the biggest track off What a Time to Be Alive, last month's joint album between Future and Drake, who recently tattooed the initials of Skepta's Boy Better Know crew on his left shoulder.
We've become exhausted by the onslaught of "Jumpman" remixes, though we'll gladly give Skepta any beat he wants. And his bars over the Metro Boomin production are certainly Drizzy approved.
On the remix, Skepta replaces "Jumpman" with more British terminology, i.e. "roadman," and he comes through with a refreshing take on the WATTBA banger.
Skepta only puts down one extended verse, so we hope a full version of the remix will surface some time soon.
Smokin' with the Jumpman out in Paris, it was bait
You can't smoke with me cause you got something on your face
I hit that Ginobili with my right hand on my waist
Talkin' to a top boy, look a top boy in the face
