Sir Michael Rocks is back, and he's on a mission to get your head nodding.

Sir Michael Rocks has had an undeniable impact on the rap game, and he’s ready to step back into our regular rotation with a new project. “How Are You So Calm” is the first track from his upcoming Populair 2 project, and it’s an excellent, funky jam.

While the first Populair was “more personal, dark and instrospective,” Sir Michael Rocks told Complex, the second installment “picks up the pace and gives you some hard hitting, head-nod worthy bangers.” The first track certainly fits that mold, with Big Los producing a catchy-as-hell beat centered around bongo drums and a shaker. He adds in some bass and intermittent trap snares for the Cool Kids member to rap witty rhymes with a creative delivery we haven’t heard from him much.

Be on the lookout for Populair 2 to drop on April 8.

Quotable Lyrics

Now I get, now I get it, you don't know who really did it
you don't who put the battery inside of all these niggas
made em wanna be all original
but I am the original!
