Pop singer Billie Ellish is yet another one of the many celebrities who called out the anti-abortion laws passed by the Alabama Senate. According to Complex, when asked about the aforementioned laws, the 17-year-old pop star shared her frustrations, precisely stating: "Honestly, I can’t even look at my phone. I have no words for the bitches in the fucking White House."
Her thoughts were given during an interview with Variety, wherein she continued: "It’s so unbelievable. It makes me, like, red. It makes my ears fucking steam out of my head. Women should say, should do, and feel and be exactly what they want. There should be nobody else telling them how to live their life, how to do shit." The songstress then admitted to having a hard time discussing the laws without getting angry. "It just makes me so mad that if I start talking about it, I won’t stop. Men should not make women’s choices—that’s all I have to say."
Most recently, a slew of celebrities spoke out against the restrictive abortion bill signed by Alabam Governor Kay Ivey. Of the names cited were Rihanna, actress Alyssa Milano, famed model Emily Ratajkowski and rapper Offset who called the abortion-ban "slavory."
