West coast artist the show aka Showdafi was born September 7 1988 in Bakersfield California. Growing up with a strong family background full of musical talent entertainment was inevitable in this young stars future. Derick or (SHOWDAFI) as he now likes to be called started developing quite a talent to entertain audiences at the early age of ten years old by winning talent shows threw out California. In 2008 he released his first EP entitled goin4damoney which led him to local fame in a matter of days. Threw out the years the rappers talent led him to work with other artist such as E-40, Mono/poly, producer I-Roc and much more. Showdafi keeps his west coast style of music traditional with influences from his favorite artist such as Dj quik, Ice cube, and Snoop Dogg. In a game that’s constantly changing Showdafi manages to keep his music youthful with a strong background of west coast culture most young west coast artist lack today.
