DJ Absolut continues his “Mixtape Mondays” series today, this time with Yonkers emcee Sheek Louch. Louch, member of iconic NY trio The Lox, gives us a vintage NY sound on “Nobody.” On the track, Sheek Louch lets everyone know who can step to him on the track – nobody. He doesn’t hold back against any potential haters, even threatening to stomp out someone’s cat.
The beat makes excellent use of guitar, horn and keyboard samples for a jazzy instrumental that softens Sheek Louch’s harsh message.
The Brooklyn emcee recently linked up with fellow New Yorkers Maino and Raekwon for “Business Never Personal,” from DJ Kay Slay’s 50 Shades of Slay.
