A lot has happened to Shawnna since she appeared on the hook of Ludacris' "Whats Your Fantasy" way back in 2000. One of Chicago's most intricate emcees (male or female), the daughter of Jazz legend Buddy Guy found modest success with two charting solo albums under Luda's Disturbing Tha Peach imprint. Her hit single "Gettin' Some" reached platinum status and spawned a who's who remix featuring her label boss himself, Lil' Wayne, Too Short, and Pharrell. Since that hit, however, she has remained relatively low-key. After leaving DTP just before her planned collaborative effort with Ludacris, Battle of the Sexes (later turned into a solo album), she signed to T-Pain's Nappy Boy and released a few mixtapes. Otherwise, she drops a song here and there to keep a buzz up with no feature-length released since 2012's She's Alive mixtape.
