Abel Tesfaye, better known under his stage name, The Weeknd, celebrated his 27th birthday a little early this year. The singer was thrown a surprise party at Dave and Buster's Monday night which saw rappers like Migos, Travis Scott, 2 Chainz, Big Sean and French Montana in attendance.
According to TMZ, though she couldn't attend, Selena Gomez (who recently started dating Tesfaye) covered the $30,000 bill for the night. It's hard to imagine spending that much at a Dave and Busters, especially since it only took place over three hours (11PM to 2AM). However, it seems that the singer's guests took advantage of the open bar (and open games) at the party.
Selena was at a New York Fashion Week event, but seeing as Tesfaye's birthday falls on February 16th, this is likely just the beginning of the celebrations.
