Sean Brown drops off a new one called "Fire Like Summer."

Sean Brown just dropped off his mixtape Solitude less than a month ago, and he's already on his second new track since. After giving us "Higher Baby" at the top of the month, he drops "Fire Like Summer" featuring Diamond.

It's fittingly titled, as the song instantly hits like a burst of sunlight, all funky guitars, mellow melodies and bright percussion. Brown does a great job of blending his singing with rapping, always hitting notes but varying the speed of his delivery. Diamond hops on midway through with a slick, more straight-up verse, providing some nice variation from Brown's melodic impulses.

Quotable Lyrics

Summertime roll the blunt
No worries in my brain, I ain't gotta front
Send the work my way, I'ma get it done
Let my success speak, I ain't gotta stunt
