Scott Storch Robbed In NYC [Update: Scott Details Robbery]

Scott Storch filed a police report saying he was robbed and threatened by two men in New York today.

Scott Storch ran into some trouble in NYC today, and had to head to a police station. Although usually when we hear about the producer he's the one who is in trouble with the cops, this time he was the one who filed the police report, looking for two men who robbed him.

The producer says that he was robbed at gunpoint outside the New York Palace hotel on Madison Avenue. As the report says, Storch was approached by two men with guns while he was waiting inside an SUV. The men told him, "Give us all your jewelry and cash or you're dead." Storch handed over his suitcase which contained $4,000 to $5,000 in cash, as well as several pieces of jewelry.

On top of this, the robbers also asked the driver to hand over the SUV keys so that they weren't able to drive away. Storch says that the two guys eventually ran off and didn't open fire, and although Storch ran after them to see where they were headed, they got away.

The producer is in town for the MTV VMAs, which take place this weekend. He went to a nearby police station and filed a report following the incident.

[UPDATE: Scott Storch Details The Robbery That Occurred In NYC]

Producer Scott Storch filed a police report two days ago after being robbed at gunpoint in New York City.

We received details on the robbery from the police report, which indicated that the robbers took jewelry from Storch as well as a suitcase with $4k-5k in cash. Now the producer has appeared on RapFix Live and spoke on what went down.

"It's a setup thing," Scott said of the incident during his appearance on MTV. "I think right now people really need to make sure that when you're in the studios... people are on the hunt right now. There's a lot of chains and watches out there... so people gotta make sure their security is right," Scott continued.

Scott detailed how the robbery occurred, "I was coming out of the studio around like seven in the morning and just unexpectedly, two 7-foot thugs came out of nowhere and bam, they got me... gunpoint, yeah," Storch said. "They said give it up or they was gonna shoot and had the gun like pressed up on me and everything. It was crazy."

Storch handed over a $50,000 diamond necklace and $50,000 Rolex, along with the suitcase of cash. Police are reviewing security footage for leads on the case, although they've already recovered a finger print from the scene. Nonetheless, Scott Storch doesn't seem to worried, he's just happy he's alive and well.

"I'm not really worried about losing that stuff," Storch said. "Just as long as my family and myself are OK. We went unharmed and nothing's gonna stop the music."
