After years in the making, ScHoolboy Q has finally come through with his Blank Face follow-up, heralding a triumphant return for the Black Hippy collective. Having explained his own process requires somewhat of a creative "gestation period," it's easy to look at Q's latest as a reflection of his current-day headspace. Drug-free, killing the golf-course, and more athletically active than ever before, Q is focused on securing the bag and bringing a healthy mix of bangers and introspection to the booth. Now, on CrasH Talk, Q has brought some fresh faces into the fold, securing features from Kid Cudi, Lil Baby, YG, Travis Scott, 21 Savage, and more.

With production from DJ Dahi, Sounwave, Jake One, Nez & Rio, Cardo, Boi 1da, and several others, Q sets up a wide-ranging array of sonic landscapes to explore. From the introspective Royce Da 5'9" & DJ Premier sampling title track, to the Dahi-laced Kid Cudi collaboration, CrasH Talk, to the laid-back haze of "Tales," CrasH Talk has a vibe for everyone.

Given the back-to-back tandem of Oxymoron and Blank Face, it's likely that many will hold Q to his own lofty standards. Expectation can often be the death of enjoyment. That being said, enjoy the latest effort from ScHoolboy Q, and sound off below. What are your early impressions of this one?
