In a new interview with Montreality, Schoolboy Q got candid about several topics.

The most sought-after answer was whether or not there's another potential compilation project with his fellow Black Hippy members Kendrick Lamar, Ab-Soul, and Jay Rock on the way. Q was non-committal.

"Y’all been asking that question for like four years," he responded. "I don’t know man. I can’t say that."

Thought that might be bad news for those hoping for a Black Hippy effort, he says that each artist's individual work plays a part in why that project has yet to see the light of day. "People don’t understand when you’re working on an album and you’re getting into a groove, it’s hard to stop that groove," said Q. "That zone you’re in, and that vision you got, to jump into a whole new thing."

Schoolboy Q is currently working on new music, some of which could be dropping very soon.
