Back in April, erstwhile Geto Boy Scarface announced a new album entitled Deeply Rooted, which would be his first since 2008's Emeritus. Now we've received the project's first single.

"The Exit Plan" features Akon on the hook, which sounds just as good as any of those from the St. Louis crooner's mid-2000s prime. Scarface shows that he hasn't lost a step in the past six years with his tense, tight-lipped delivery as as sharp as ever. As 2014 has been a Scarface-less year thus far (apart from an admittedly dope feature on the Freddie Gibbs & Madlib album), we can't wait to hear what the rest of Deeply Rooted has in store.

Quotable Lyrics:

And we don't talk to police
That's the number one rule in the streets
'Cause if you can't do the time, then you don't do the crime
Nigga keep the streets quiet
