Sap "O Eight" Video

Sap dropped the mixtape Self-Employed at the beginning of the month. He selects one of the more nostalgic tracks on the tape for the video treatment, giving us the equally nostalgic video for “O Eight.”

Over classic boom-bap drums and a lilting vocal sample, Sap stands in front of a blue and red lit background and spits his story from beginning to end. We get some cool deep cut video clips of his youth before delving into his later years, when “Donald Trump” pushed him and Mac Miller into the limelight. Finally, he makes it and the video shows some very cool clips of Sap with The Game and Kendrick Lamar. With this kind of trajectory, we’re excited to see what Sap can do with a mic in his hand as well as behind the boards.
