According to reports, the San Diego Chargers' are announcing their move to Los Angeles on Thursday.
Well it looks to be official… the San Diego Chargers are moving to Los Angeles. According to ESPN, the Chargers will make the announcement official Thursday afternoon in a press conference.
The news shouldn’t come as much of a shock considering the plans have been in the works for years. Chargers chairman, Dean Spanos, has been trying to build a new stadium in San Diego for years, but the city couldn’t pass the vote back in November in order for it to happen, ultimately leaving Mr. Spanos only one option to move.
ESPN’s Adam Schefter was first to report the news, but we should find out more details come tomorrow afternoon. Shefter noted that nothing of course is final until everything is signed & complete, but the announcement is on the way.
