19-year old Ryan Trey was originally poised for a promising career in basketball. But, an ultimate passion for music would lead the D.C. native and St. Louis transplant to walk away from that in order to pursue another dream. The end of the month will mark the arrival of the young emcee’s debut project August, highlighted by the selects that include “Bradley Beal Freestyle,” “Evolving,” “Matte Blvck,” “Temptations,” and “Mutual Butterflies.”
Most recently, Ryan has arrived with the accompanying visual for the latter—an outing that has earned a trusty co-sign from fellow Louisville creator Bryson Tiller. Ethereal production makes for the perfect backdrop as Ryan Trey uncovers the whirlwind that is love and relationships.
