On an airing of their Beats 1 show WRTJ, Run The Jewels took to the vaults and shared a demo version of the hilariously titled "Panther Like A Panther." The final version, which appeared on their recent album Run The Jewels 3, included a feature from "the baddest bitch" herself, Trina, along with a much more dominant synth presence.

The demo, as you might expect, is a little bit more raw. Gone are the pristine synth lines and Trina vocals, leaving an instrumental laid bare. The stripped down version is heavy on the bass, retaining a higher quality than the average demo. And while the track is a familiar one, fans of the recording process should get a kick out of noting the differences between demo and finished product.

Quotable Lyrics

Welcome to fuckyoupalooza, we bruisin' any who movin'
Who wanna stan' for these douches, you raise a hand and you lose it
I hold the door for old ladies, run into fires and save babies
I went to school in the eighties, taking the train with the crazies
New York, New York is the mothership where I used to smoke dust and shit
Now, I'm crop dustin' fuckers, suck it up and you'll love the shit
