When the tracklist for Run The Jewels' just-released album Run The Jewels 2 surfaced earlier this year, it came as somewhat of a shock when we learned that there was no "Pt. 2" to the already-released "Blockbuster Night Pt. 1" on the standard edition. But El-P and Killer Mike, ever the tricksters (can't wait for Meow The Jewels), have dropped a sequel as a bonus track today.
Featuring the two phenomenal talents of NYC undergrounders Despot and Wiki (of Ratking), the track opens with Killer Mike calling himself an elephant again. On the topic of retreading old ground, El-P proves yet again that he's one of the best beatmakers around, synthesizing some truly bonkers sounds into a cohesive, earth-shattering product.
