One trilogy later, Run The Jewels continue the thirst for excellence. Jamie and Mike have long played left and right fist on a particularly capable fighter, landing hit after hit with their brash and intellectual brand of lyricism. At times, El-P is reminiscent of a less abstract Aesop Rock, conjuring up fantastical and Asimov-inspired imagery with a rude and unapologetic sneer. Mike plays the perfect counterpart, a product of the Atlanta trap with a keen mind for astute political commentary and an imposing physical presence. Together, they have been one of hip-hop's most consistent duos, and few can boast a run as consistent as their eponymous trifecta.

Today, RTJ is back, courtesy of frequent collaborator BOOTS. Stemming from BOOTS' new #DARKDAZE EP, "Delete Delete" finds El-P and Mike going in over a sparse 808 driven instrumental, never phoning it in, even for features. Melodies are handled by BOOTS and Cristin Milioti, who imbue the track with an experimental flair.

Quotable Lyrics

Round of flash shit Earth's a trap
Acme factory you're the rat
Light years stylin over y'all pile of goombas
Style and lift a ghost out ya loafers
Smile a pot you can't hold em
Naming out to y'all Gollums

- El-P
