dvsn's new album Morning After is, like their debut, devoid of features. Despite their ties to the OVO Sound network of artists that includes Drake, PARTYNEXTDOOR, and Majid Jordan, the duo have preserved their own space on the album (though they do get a little help from Noah "40" Shebib). Delivering a mix for OVO Sound Radio Friday night, dvsn did preview a remix of one of their Morning After tracks with a familiar voice: OVO's Roy Woods. The 1-minute tease features a verse from Roy over the hypnotic instrumental as he shares some playful quotables: "Choose you like Duck, Duck , Goose," sending the last syllable up into his highest register of falsetto. It's unclear if a full official version of the remix will be released soon, but so far we'll have to live with the OVO rip.

The album, released Friday, is meant to be a cinematic experience, or as the duo describe in a PnP interview, it "feel[s] like you've just watched a movie with your ears." You can stream the full project here.

Roy Woods recently premiered new music of his own on OVO Sound Radio, playing a collaboration with Rich The Kid called "New New." It comes in advance of the singer and rapper's forthcoming album Say Less. Roy also shared a new song called "Say Less Freestyle" earlier this summer.

When he first broke in 2014, we spoke to Roy Woods about his come-up the mix of R&B and rap he does so well. "I've been singing since I was 12. So I'd consider myself a singer, but I do love to rap," he said. "I've been freestyling since I was around 14 when I used to go to the YMCA Downtown in Brampton every Saturday night, and I started dropping music when I was 16."

Quotable Lyrics:
Don't choose the drugs over me
Don't choose Snow White over weed tonight
You'll run Woods down, so forget about the feel
Make you feel something you ain't know was real
