Rostrum Records, a Pittsburgh, PA-based record label which houses rappers like Wiz Khalifa and Mac Miller, recently announced a new Director of A&R. Th new Director of A&R, who will also take on a role of in-house producer, is E. Dan of production trio ID Labs (alongside Big Jerm and Sayez).
Rostrum Records announced the new addition to the label via press release, saying, "he will help to guide the album-making process for Rostrum's roster and scout new artists and producers." E. Dan, a multi-talented producer, mixer and engineer, founded his studio ID Labs in 2004, and soon began working with signees of Rostrum Records Wiz Khalifa and Mac Miller.
"Although I've been a part of the extended Rostrum family for many years now, I'm happy to be an official part of the team. This is an opportunity to further my involvement with all of Rostrum's artists and to be a part of its continued growth and viability in the music industry," Dan said.
The President of Rostrum Records, Benjy Grinberg, stated, "E. Dan has been an instrumental part of the success of our label. He is the core of the Pittsburgh music scene, and we are very excited to have him officially joining the team."
E. Dan added, "I'm excited for how my role in the company will develop as things evolve and as I continue to build on the success of ID Labs."
