"The Experiment," featuring OG Maco, is one of the highlights from Rome Fortune's "Small VVorld."

Atlanta's green-bearded "beautiful pimp" Rome Fortune returned today with his Small VVorld project. Culling together some tracks he's been dropping in the past months, the tape also features contributions from iLoveMakonnen and OG Maco, the latter of whom guests on the intro track, "The Experiment."

A sure standout from the tape, the Cubby-produced track blends the atmospheric tranquility of cloud rap with the hard-hitting percussion and sound effects of trap music. It's in this sweet spot -- between trap and alt-rap -- that most of Fortune's best work resides, and "The Experiment" is no exception. Maco is still gruff and irreverent in his opening verse, but you won't find any of his "BITCH U GUESSED IT!"-style screaming on here.

Quotable Lyrics:

Same little nigga in his own space, bake and shake
Somethin' like a (?)
Need a meal, make a plate, call your bitch for her face
It's somethin' to paint, play her role, know her place

- Maco
