Earlier this week, Rocko delivered his Poet mixtape. While the project had been in the works for some time, the rapper decided to drop it after he learned of Maya Angelou's passing.
The tape is certainly a departure for the man who claims to have coined the term 'turnt up', dealing mainly with socially conscious topics rather than partying.
On "Phenomenal Woman", Rocko teams up with TM88, a producer who has definitely proved capable of crafting a banger, but here delivers something a little more subtle and heartfelt.
