RECKLEZZ SCISSORHANDZ

Rico Recklezz seems to be channeling his inner Tim Burton with his new mixtape Recklezz Scissorhandz. Wielding the famous garden shear set of hands on the mixtape's cover and evoking some eerie, left-of-center vibes with the production, this collection of tracks takes the Chicago emcee into darker, more threatening territory. From the brooding "Savages and Goonz" to the dank nostalgia of "Mortal Kombat," complete with the classic "Finish him!" line, there is no corner of the mixtape uninhabited with Recklezz's intimidation tactics. While not necessarily a total departure from his previous work, Scissorhandz seems to be distancing itself from collaborations with the likes of Soulja Boy.
