There weren't a whole lot of high-profile rap releases in 2014, and thus Rick Ross was able to sneak two albums into one year when plenty of rappers were still fighting for release dates. The second of the two was a little more low-key, but it's lower ambitions made it a more cohesive listen. "Phone Tap" was one of the many luxurious street records that populated the album, and it now has a cinematic music video to go along with its Godfather-esque boasting.
We're still not sure if Rick Ross is planning to take the year off to support the releases of MMG signees like Meek Mill and Gunplay, but he hasn't been known to stay silent for long.
