Rick Ross and the MMG crew have had to cancel their tour stops in North Carolina, reportedly because of gang threats.

The two shows in Charlotte and Greensboro, North Carolina were scheduled for this weekend, but online death threats have made MMG rethink passing through either city.

In a YouTube rap video, the Gangster Disciples warned the MMG Bawse about coming to Charlotte and Greensboro. They felt Rozay dishonored their gang leader, and used gang symbols disrespectfully. The latter of these refers to Rick Ross' Black Bar Mitzvah mixtape, in which he utilized the six-point star symbol in his artwork. The former incident refers to Ross' hit "B.M.F.", in which he shouts out gang leader, Larry Hoover.

Prior to the shows being cancelled,  the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police had released a statement saying the officers would remain vigilant to ensure safety of all those attending.

Live Nation has announced that tickets for the show, which also included Meek Mill and Wale, can be refunded starting today.

Rozay tweeted about the cancellation, saying he plans to return to NC, and that the promoters cancelled the show.
