Ross shared some photos of himself and Hov in what looks like a listening session.

We know that Drake and 2 Chainzjust got in the studio together, but they weren't the only rappers linking up this weekend. Rick Ross and Jay Z got together for some kind of studio session recently, as Rick Ross shared some Instagram photos of the two chopping it up and possibly listening to some new music in L.A.

MMG signee Rockie Fresh was also in the building, and as someone who had never previously metJay Z, he was was very excited to have been included. "Today I met Jay-Z," he wrote on IG. "I appreciate my bro @richforever for putting me in rooms like this. Probably one of the coolest days of my life. Hov put me on a lot of shit today. Always great when you can learn from legends."

Of course, the best outcome of this meet-up is another collab on the level of "Maybach Music" or "FuckWithMeYouKnowIGotIt," but this seems more likely to be an opportunity for Ross to give Hov an early listen to his new records from his upcoming album Rather You Than Me, which is expected to be released in the early stretch of this year. Maybe he was also picking out a song to hop on? We can always hope.
