Rich The Kid continues to impress, having followed up the 2017 anthem "Plug Walk" with yet another banger. This time around, "Splashin" once again finds Rich operating in the beloved "Dark Banger" territory, continuing to pluck elements from the sci-fi playbook. In keeping with his chosen sonic aesthetic, Rich makes sure to line his "Splashin" video with a plethora of science-fiction imagery, with the dominant narrative finding him sampling a vial of ominous green goo. Upon consuming the beverage, he sports a new pair of glow-in-the-dark eyes for his troubles, while his lady-friend experiences a wealth of different side-effects altogether.
The ARRAD helmed clip marks another good look for Rich, who continues to stoke hype fires for his impending The World Is Yours 2, which arrives on January 18th. It's unclear whether the project will be a step in the right direction, but "Splashin" points to, at the very least, a reprieve of Rich's once-successful formula.
