On first listening to RetcH's new song, "Throwin' Sets Down," the first thing that will grab you is the production. Produced by Grimm Doza, the beat that he provides for RetcH sounds straight out of a haunted house. A rusty violin melody leads the listener slowly, and he literally uses the sounds of dripping water and creaking floors as a bass for the beat.
You're trapped in RetcH's cellar, and he's doing everything in his power to be a menacing as possible here. His flow is stilted and almost non-existent. You're not dealing with a rapper here, you're dealing with a psychopath, and that means they don't have to follow the rules. While it may not be the catchiest song, it's certainly an interesting approach.
