Remy Ma, crowned the Best Female Hip-Hop Artist at the 2017 BET Awards, was spitting some fire freestyle bars during a break in her Essence Fest performance in New Orleans this weekend.
As seen in a video from the show, Remy Ma talks about how she's still here and still her, despite the fact that she's been through some major struggles in her life, such as being in prison. She also took some time out to, predictably, throw some more shade on Nicki Minaj, saying that she doesn't need Instagram for people to follow her.
Finally, she goofs on several other groups of people, including women who are unable to "pop it" despite their loins carrying that Gucci scent. Love her or hate her, you have to admit there's never a dull moment with Remy Ma.
