DJ Orange Calderón brings the Houston vibes out in Travi$ Scott's "Drugs You Should Try It."

If you're feeling sluggish this Wednesday morning, well, Remix Fix probably won't help with that (and sorry we're a day late). This week we take things the chopped and screwed direction, with a chopped up remix of Travi$ Scott's already-melancholic "Drugs You Should Try It."

DJ Orange Calderón, whom we came across perusing Soundcloud, is actually one of those #rare female DJs, or as her twitter puts it "Young Blend Goddess." It's quite an accurate description. Calderón divides her time between H-Town and L.A., although she is a Houston baby, she doesn't limit herself to chopped & screwed re-works, her Soundcloud page has a variety of hour-long mixes, from r'n'b vibes to more EDM-inspired and energetic workout mixes.

Travi$ Scott's Days Before The Rodeo cut "Drugs You Should Try It" already had a very mellow aura and hints of chopped lyrics a la Houston, but Orange Calderón really kicks things up a level so you might actually feel a bit stoned after listening to this even if you're 100% sober. Check out the re-work below.

If you want to check out more from Orange, she recently did a guest mix for Halloween on Odd Future Radio, which we've included below.
