Raury Performs "Fly" In The Nightly Show's First Ever Musical Performance

Raury talks racial profiling with Larry Wilmore and performs "Fly," a song he wrote about Ferguson.

The Nightly Show has gotten plenty of rappers like Joey Bada$$, The Game, and Mac Miller to come in and talk about controversial social and political issues, particularly those pertaining to race. But never in the show's brief history has it had a musical performance -- until last night, when Raury busted out his guitar for a performance of "Fly," a song that he wrote about Ferguson. The song appears on his new album All We Need.

Prior to his performance, Raury sat down with Larry Wilmore and co. to discuss Operation GroupMe, an app that has inadvertently become a tool for racial profiling in Washington DC. Check that out below.
