Rappers Celebrate Thanksgiving 2013

Sean Price decided to take his fans on his Thankgiving Day shopping excursion. While shopping, he talks about what he loves about the holiday (apparently he only enjoys eating). He also lists his menu for the night, Turkey, duck, collard greens, mac and cheese, the usual.
"My son Sebastian Taylor is the biggest blessing. I am also thankful for my wife, my parents and all my family. I keep Thanksgiving very close with my immediate family and friends. Every year is different, but I am trying to build traditions. Next year, I’m looking forward to continued health for my son and family, wonderful herbs to keep the peace between everyone, and putting out another great project."
Amber Rose also tweeted about the couple's Thanksgiving Day plans, saying that Wiz, Sebastian Bash and her brothers and father would be coming over to their house.
RiFF RaFF seems to have a bit of a cynical approach to Thanksgiving, if his tweets are any indication ("YEA U GO SiT WiTH YOUR "LOViNG FAMiLY" iN YOUR FUCKiNG TURTLE NECK SWEATERS AND TELL YOUR WEAK ASS JOKES i WiLL BE DOiNG LiNES ON THE ROOF"). Isaiah Rashad is TDE's newest signee, so it's safe to say he's had a nice year. He shared all that he was thankful for this Thanksgiving with the Fader, and unsurprisingly, getting connected to the TDE family was his #1. He also talks about becoming a father.
"I’m thankful for my homie for introducing me to Dave Free, which got me signed to TDE. I’m thankful to not be at home at my mom’s house or in school anymore. I’m thankful to be 22. People tell you the sky’s the limit, that you can do whatever you wanna do. But you gotta get to a place where you can see that: everything you might wanna do and all your possibilities. I just got to that place. Every time I get stressed out I’m like, Shit, I’m 22! I’m gonna figure this out! I got hopefully 50 more years of life left to give a fuck about. At this point, there’s nothing that I regret.
I had my son this year. People tried to warn me when they found out I was having a kid, like: You’re gonna feel different, you’re not gonna know it until you know it. I know that shit now— feeling like an adult and assuming responsibility. Being young today, like with social media, there’s always something new to worry about and something else happening. You can forget what’s really important to you. With having my own family, I’m thankful that I’ve got bigger things to worry about now."
Rich Homie Quan only recently started to come up in the rap game, and on top of feeding the streets with music this Thanksgiving, he's also literally feeding them with turkeys. The rapper had a turkey giveaway at South Dekalb mall in Atlanta two days ago to kick off the holiday. He shared an image on Instagram of a ton of turkeys in preparation for the event.
Tyler, The Creator would give back to his community for Thanksgiving, but he apparently doesn't like anyone there. So he didn't. At least he's being real about it.
The Game is getting busy today grocery shopping for Thanksgiving, and Instagramed an image of his chef picking up their turkey. And apparently, one lucky fan may have the chance to come eat Game's Thanksgiving Day meal with his family. He captioned the photo, "gettin all this food for the THANKSGIVING dinner at my crib tomorrow..... I just might fly one of my fans in to eat with me, my friends & my family... STAY TUNED !!!!!"
HNHH takes a look at how different rappers are celebrating Thanksgiving this year.
It’s almost that time of year again, where you get to stuff your face with delicious food and hang out with your close friends and family. Like us normal folk, rappers celebrate Thanksgiving too. While most of the year we see rappers stunting on us and bragging about their material possessions, around Thanksgiving we often see the kinder side of hip-hop artists, as many of them will put their stacks of cash to good use and give back to the community.
We decided to take a look at what some of your favorite rappers are doing for the festivities this year, including Meek Mill, Jeezy, RiFF RaFF, Wiz Khalifa, Big Sean and more. Take a look in the gallery above and let us know what you’re thankful for!
