Migos' "Bad and Boujee" is as good a meme as it is a song.
We've seen memes propel songs up the charts, but as Rae Sremmurd's "Black Beatles" proved, it's when a truly great song (with some real momentum) inspires a meme that things really get moving. Migos' "Bad and Boujee" had the first part of that equation down, climbing to #13 on the Hot 100 on its own legs, and it now has the second as well.
Over the holidays, "Bad and Boujee" has taken new life on Twitter, with users riffing on Offset's infectiously catchy hook "Rain Drop / Drop top," before adding their own rhyming caption. Things have progressed to mashups and the like from there, as well as lots of debate over the merits of Lil Uzi Vert's verse (you either love it or you hate it, it seems). Check out some of the best memes inspired by the song below.
First there were the tweets.
