Raekwon Explains The Importance Of Separating Friends & Business

Posted by , Apr 5, 2016 at 08:26pm

Raekwon shares some wisdom he's learned from years in the industry.

Raekwon has been in the game since the early 90s, and he's still working as hard as ever, so he's certainly learned a lot in his multiple decades in rap. In a new interview with Jen Deleon, the Wu-Tang chef goes into detail about his business philosophy, explaining that friends and business should never mix. "There’s a lot of people that don’t have great intentions and they be right there next to you acting like they’re genuine, but they don’t really give a fuck about you - they’re there for personal pleasure,” he says.

Since he's still making quality music 20 years down the line, it might be a good idea to take his advice. Make sure to read our review of his most recent project, F.I.L.A., here. Do you agree with what Rae had to say?
