The home in which Rae Sremmurd was staying has now become a crime scene after an invasion by masked gunmen. The criminals took off with a safe after forcing their way into the spot.
The incident took place in San Fernando Valley around 4:30 AM this Saturday. Reports state that the Hip Hop duo's security guard answered a knock on the door before 4 armed robbers swiftly pistol-whipped him and entered the crib. The intruders, who were wearing ski masks for the job, made one particular demand: to be taken to a safe located in the house.
The entire safe was stolen. Its contents have yet to be publicly revealed. Swae Lee was absent during the incident, but Slim Jxmmi was home at the time. The pair had been staying at the location that also moonlights as a recording studio. The investigation is still underway.
The burglary adds to Swae Lee's rough time. This news comes shortly after the rapper was injured during a show when a fan threw a cell phone at his face.
Burglaries have become somewhat of a trend this summer. Many homes in this same LA area have been hit, including Wiz Khalifa's crib and Christina Milian's, amongst others.
